    What is the future of reuse in construction ?

    On February 10 2020, France enacted the law on the circular economy and on its fight against waste (la loi relative à la lutte contre le gaspillage et à l’économie circulaire). This law aims to promote reuse in the construction sector, which today represents 14% of waste production in France.

    The project :

    Following a first energy audit, the Etablissement Public du Parc et de la Grande Halle de la Villette decided to undertake retrofit works on the building in order to improve its energy efficiency.

    Total cost of the retrofit works: 1.5 million euros    Duration: 30 months

    « Colisée » project in central Paris, SOGEPROM

    The project :

    The building with its 7600 m² is partly occupied by a broadcasting company and partly used as office space. The French real estate developer SOGEPROM has asked us to ensure that the retrofit of the « Colisée » building allows for increased energy efficiency.

    We must ensure that the project complies with the requirements of the French BBC label, NF HQE and LEED certifications.
